Sales Account Executive

At Interactive Audio Visual, we seek to empower our clients with integrated solutions that enrich their communications and interactions with others.

Established in 2003, Interactive Audio Visual has been providing leading edge AV solutions to our clients throughout the National Capital Region.

Our organization is growing, and we are seeking an experienced account executive to join our sales team.  The successful candidate is a dynamic individual who is able to establish a strong client base while building long term customer relationships. This role will be a combination of business development and account management.

We’re looking for a self-motivated professional with a passion for exceptional sales performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing and managing a client base consisting of Government, Corporate and Educational customers.   The position reports directly to the Sales Manager.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop new customer relationships through prospecting via outbound call and emails; while also maintaining an existing client base
  • Conduct in person client meetings (Post Covid Pandemic)
  • Act as the primary point of contact with your customers to best represent our company and our brand
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans
  • Maintain and develop a high level of knowledge regarding new technology and the company’s products and services
  • Demonstrate the ability to work and thrive in a team environment
  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations and negotiations
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Update and maintain all required CRM metrics including sales funnel development
  • Develop quotations and proposals, respond to RFP’s and competitive bids
  • Commit to continually developing your sales skills
  • Bilingualism (English/French) considered an asset, but not mandatory


Successful Candidate Experience:

  • Demonstrate a track record of consistent sales success
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years sales experience in a technology driven environment
  • A strong understanding of selling managed services and other recurring revenue products
  • Basic IP networking knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma
  • Knowledge of working with Canadian federal government standing offers
  • Must possess valid driver’s license
